Access Hollywood got Rachelle’s reaction to the recasting of Victoria, it seems that she was just as shocked as we were:
“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for ‘Eclipse,’” Rachelle said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
“I was fully committed to the ‘Twilight’ saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria,” Rachelle continued, explaining the turn of events that led to the casting change. “I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. My commitment to ‘Barney’s Version’ is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for ‘Eclipse.’ Although the production schedule for ‘Eclipse’ is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for ‘Eclipse,’ never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.”
The star concluded her statement with a regretful tone.
“I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the ‘Twilight’ audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I’ve received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit’s surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of ‘Eclipse’ only the very best,” she said.
Two Aussie Mums have joined forces to write Twilight Fan Fiction. The two Mums nicknamed Ferla and Feral with four children between them met on a mothers forum. The two were introduced to Twilight by a mutual friend and soon decided to write their own version of an Edward and Bella story.
Ferla came up with the plot of an Aussie Bella and Feral got to writing! They work most nights when the kids are in bed, talking on MSN going over plots and ideas. Just about every word, touch and thought in the story is carefully thought out and planned till all hours in the morning!
Bella Down Under is, so far the pair’s only FF but they have an idea for one more before they look at writing something they willl seek to get published.

“Twilight star Kellan Lutz finds it “strange” that some of his female fans are twice his age.
The hunky actor — who is currently dating 21-year-old AnnaLynne McCord — says he has become popular with the older ladies.
“It has been strange, not because of the attention, which is of course flattering, but because of the age ranges,” Lutz told Life & Style magazine. “It’s from young teenagers all the way to their 40-year-old mothers!
“Those Twilight moms have made me blush more than once with the fan mail and the packages that they send.”
Lutz also insists fame hasn’t changed himself and his Twilight costars Robert Pattinson, Taylour Lautner and Kristen Stewart. “Everyone is still very modest and low-key,” he dished.”
