What is your ATM forum nickname? - bower of bliss (name taken from a song with suggestive lyrics by “Clouds”)

How did you find ATMs? - Through Rachel who mentioned her Twilight Fansite Blog on a parenting forum. We had a little buddy group there for a while and then the ATM forum started, and the rest is history.

How many kids do you have and what are their ages? - Pigeon pair. My Daughter will be 6 this July and my Son will be 4 in September.

How were you introduced to Twilight? - December 2008 a friend of mine changed her profile pic on Facebook to an unflattering pic of RPattz as Edward and changed her surname to Cullen. It freaked me out as I thought someone had hacked my account by adding some strange bloke to my friends list. I finally worked out what she had done and asked her who the “girly man” in her pic was. She answered that it was her “Vampire lover” from Twilight. Being a fan of the vampire genre I looked it up on Wiki and then found out it was a set of 4 books. I then miraculously found a brand new hard cover box set on Oztion at a good price at a time when it was near impossible to get them unless you wanted to spend nearly $200. I wanted something to read as I was having surgery on my shoulder 2 days before Christmas and recovery was going to be 6 weeks. I thought the books would last me that long. I read them in about 10 days and then reread them again.

How long have you been a fan? - Since January 2009 when I got my books.

Did you read the book or watch the movie first? - Read Twilight and Midnight Sun and then saw the Twilight movie. Then read the rest of them.

How many times have you read the books? I read them twice back-to-back, but I have listened to the audiobooks so many times I’ve lost count.

How many time have you seen the movies? Again lost count with Twilight, but have only seen New Moon 3 times. There is just not enough Edward in it!

Does your partner approve of your Twilight obsession? No. He gets annoyed at anything I decide to like as I do tend to get obsessive. I do have it in writing though that he would be willing to dress up as Edward for sex….he just doesn’t know that I know this. He wrote it on a wrestling forum (that he doesn’t think I frequent any more) and he was defending Twilight. Weird, I know!! LOL

Are you Team Edward, Team Jacob or another team? - Team Edward….well Team RPattz really!

What is your favourite Twilight Saga book? - Eclipse

Who is your favourite Twilight character? - Edward….of course!

Who is your favourite Twilight Saga cast member? Robert Pattinson followed by Peter Facinelli.

What merchandise to you have? - Hardcover Box set of the saga, Twilight and New Moon movie companions plus a few other books my MIL bought me as gifts. An online acquaintance bought me some gifts from Twi-con in Brisbane as a thank you for getting her addicted to Twilight and Fanfics. They were a Pocket Edward doll, some signed photos and a bracelet. My husband bought me a Cullen crest key ring for Christmas which is my favourite because I know it would just about have killed him to buy it. LOL

Have you been to any Twilight conventions or events? No. Maybe if they would come to S.A. I would go.

This month I have chosen The Luke Priddis Foundation as our Charity of the Month.

“Luke and Holly Priddis established the Luke Priddis Foundation following the diagnosis of their third child Cooper as having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Following Cooper’s diagnosis they became caught in a whirlwind of meetings, assessments, occupational therapy, speech therapy and early intervention.

Through searching for approriate intervention programs, it was found that there was a lack of services in the Western Sydney area.  Further to this, the services that were accessible struggled with a lack of funding, along with a lack of provisions suitable to provide appropriate intervention for children with ASD and other special needs.

The aim of the Luke Priddis Foundation is to maximise the services and opportunities available to Autistic and special needs children.”

February’s Book of the Month is:

The Kingdom by Jennifer McBay Barry
