Robert Pattinson is coming to Sydney on May 6th for the premiere of his latest movie, Water for Elephants. For us Aussie Rob fans this could be the only time we get the opportunity to see Rob live and in person!
This is where the ‘Robert for Elephants’ project comes into play. We have decided to raise money for a charity, a charity that coincides with Rob’s movie Water for Elephants – We are going to raise money to sponsor an Elephant in Taronga Zoo, Sydney, for a year and we need your help.
What this means is that Robert Pattinson will officially be the adopted parent of one of the elephants in the zoo. This costs $1000 for the year and any money that we make from donations over this amount will be donated to the ‘SAVE THE ELEPHANTS FOUNDATION‘.
Our hope, and we are still working on this, is that while Rob is in Sydney, we can get Rob to come to the zoo and meet his elephant, be presented with his adoption certificate and a book, that you’ll find more details on further down. We know this is ambitious, but we’re going to give it a go!
