Aussie Twilight Mums Newsletter – May 2010
Hi Aussie Twilight Mums,
It’s going to be another busy month here at ATM Central, there is so much going on and so much coming up in the next few months that this newsletter is probably going to read like a book! So go and grab a cuppa and sit back and relax while you read the all ATM news.
Anyway, let’s get in to it! How was your Mother’s Day? I hope you all had a lovely relaxing day with your family. I managed to get a little sleep in, breakfast in bed and some lovely little presents from my kids. My 11 year old daughter even made me an Edward bookmark which is very nice 
As always I would like to welcome our newest members to the forum! I am so glad that all you wonderful women have found us here.
Please come in and introduce yourself if you haven’t done so already. If you are unsure how to go about using the forum check for your welcome message in the menu bar just under the forum header. It will give you some hints and tips on how to get started.

I have decided that it’s time to get some Moderators to help oversee the goings on in the forums again! If you were a Moderator before all the changes and you would like to be a Mod again, you will have priority over newer members. Hub have announced that they will be holding a Vampire Diaries Convention for their Australian Fans. So far Paul Wesley who plays Stephan Salvatore, Ian Somerhaulder who plays Damon and Nina Dobrev who plays Elena have been announced.

Another one of Hubs conventions planned for this year is the True Blood convention. These conventions will be held in Sydney on the 25th September and Melbourne on the 26th September.
So far the guests that have been announced include: Sam Trammell, John Billingsley, Kristen Bauer and the author Charlaine Harris!

Supanova is being held in Sydney and Perth and so far the guests announced from the Twilight Saga are Chaske Spencer and Jodelle Ferland!
Also attending will be True Blood’s Godric, Allan Hyde and Buffy’s Charisma Carpenter.

We are very proud to be affiliated with The Fandom Gives Back which helps to raise money for childhood cancer research.
And to help raise funds for this great cause Shantelle and Hannah are organising an Eclipse Masquerade Ball in Sydney on Saturday June 26th, 2010!
Tickets start at $120 which covers entry, all food and beverages (this is an alcohol-free event), plus entertainment for the night.

KT Collectables are holding a midnight screening of Eclipse in Support of Autism SA for Adelaide Customers

I’m really enjoying our ATM Book Club, it’s great reading new books and discussing them with all you Mums. It’s also been wonderful to have so many participants joining in each month.

Each month we will be inviting a ‘Guest’ to join us. These Guests will either be our Mum of the Month, an Author or a twilight related Guest.
To be eligible to become a Guest Mum you need to have access to Skype and a microphone. Go to the Podcast Thread and register your interest and at the end of the month I will pick one lucky Mum using an online random number generator.
You can also send me audio messages and I will play them on the podcast. Simply record your message or ask us a question and email the audio file to me at aussietwilightmums@gmail.com and I’ll play it on the next podcast.
